Our professional staff encourages patients to do as much as they are physically able. We are hospital affiliated, offering the added benefit of hospital resources and personnel.
Cost Effective Care
We can assist you in your transition from hospital to home, teaching related to your diagnosis or medications, wound care, coordinate prescription delivery, assist with rental of medical equipment and oxygen services. As your medical needs change, we work with you and your physician to modify your care program. Our goal is your greatest personal independence and self-sufficiency.
Oneida County Hospital Home Care is a Medicare and Medicaid certified provider. Services are also performed on a private fee bases. Private insurance companies will be contacted for coverage. We can help you complete claim forms for either government or private insurance plans.
Personal Care
Home and Community Based Services
Oneida County Home Care also provides services under the Aged and Disabled Waiver Program. Medicaid recipients may be eligible, as determined by Medicaid, for this program, also known as Personal Care Services and Home and Community Based Services. Benefits of this program include assistance with the activities of daily living such as:
